Kelsey Willardson

Kelsey Willardson is currently a senior undergraduate student and researcher pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health and Human Physiology at the University of Iowa. In the Petersen Lab, Kelsey has worked with Angela Toepp to conduct an occupational study assessing disease risk among those with outdoor and animal exposures. Kelsey has also assisted in creating a protocol for using dried blood spots to test for zoonotic diseases. She is a Latham Fellow and intends to study food systems and be involved with community engagement following her interest in the role of nutrition in community and behavioral health.
