Dr. Dana N. LeVine is an Assistant Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine at Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.
- Dr. LeVine received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 2004. She went on to do her Internship in General Medicine and Surgery at the University of Georgia (04-05). Her Residency in Internal Medicine was completed at North Carolina State University (05-08). She received her DACVIM (Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine) in 2009. Dr. LeVine received her PhD in Comparative Biomedical Sciences from North Carolina State University in 2013.
- Her research interests are in immune-mediated thromboctyopenia, which can occur secondary to several tick borne diseases such as Anaplasma and Ehrlichia.
- She is a board member of the Association of Veterinary Hematology and Transfusion Medicine.
- She is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
